Elaine Davis author of Looking Inside Out (book published by Xulon Press) hit up the Web site division of Paige1Publishing (Collipsis Web Solutions) when she realized her book needed a fully functioning Web Site to compliment the book’s beautifully designed cover and 385 pages of captivating storytelling. Paige1Publishing welcomed the opportunity to design an “Author” site for Davis as well as integrate custom pieces originally made for the book’s cover.

On the home page, users can find a backdrop of the captivating cover image and a familiar typeset that distinguishes the look and feel of the author’s unique style.

Capturing the story in its feature display was a tough assignment for the firm, given so many opportunities for such a picturesque title. The decision was made, however, after considering the rich content that Davis provided. She’s lived through all this. So why not use the book’s cover, which already was a representation of the author’s feelings towards her life struggles to realize herself, now Looking Inside Out?

Particular attention was also given to the site’s detail. There are links to press releases, awards, reader comments, and even an opportunity for viewers to read an excerpt from her inspiring story.

Elaine Davis is the author of Looking Inside Out. It tells the story of her childhood struggles and sheer determination to uncover the mysteries of life and religion growing up a Mennonite. She currently resides in Tulsa, OK. Her book may be purchased online.
